Why Equ-Us Workshops Matter

The relationship between alcohol and illegal drugs, crime, and violence is both direct and complex. And in South Africa, a country whose murder rate of 57 per day borders the statistics of a war-zone, we need programs like Equ-Us to help make a lasting change in the lives of those harmfully involved with drugs and/or alcohol.

By partnering with government and local NGO treatment programs, Equ-Us will help to reduce the rates of relapse in those actively seeking a life free from addiction.

With your support we can help steer the people of South Africa towards a brighter, violence-free future.

Our innovative program will make a lasting difference in the lives of those who are seeking a life free from drug and alcohol dependence in South Africa. But who do not have access to private rehab facilities.

We’re raising USD 30,000 for our goal to rehabilitate 150 adults and teens that are harmfully involved with drugs and/or alcohol through our Equ-Us Workshops in 2019.

Private donors fund our administrative and fundraising costs, so you can rest assured that 100% of your donation will go to funding our Equ-Us workshops.

With your help we can make a lasting difference in reducing crime and improving the lives of the people of South Africa.

*The Donate through PayPal option also offers credit/debit card payment without a PayPal account. Alternatively, if you’d prefer an EFT / wire transfer, please choose Offline Donation and we’ll email you our banking information. Thank you for your support.
